# Frndix vs Sequel

The clearest difference is rating: Frndix at 5.0 against Sequel's 4.3. Frndix also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9). Sequel's advantage is ratings volume (432 vs 1) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sequel sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Frndix asks for nothing beyond the download.

Frndix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sequel has 432 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Frndix ships an update every 5 weeks, Sequel every 10 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
