# Scarab vs VRLink

The clearest difference is update cadence: VRLink at every 5 days against Scarab's fortnightly. VRLink also leads on device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scarab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and VRLink sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scarab ships an update fortnightly, VRLink every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
