# Orbital Pulse vs Drop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Drop at every 10 days against Orbital Pulse's every 3 weeks. Drop also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbital Pulse sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Drop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orbital Pulse ships an update every 3 weeks, Drop every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
