# Post Notes vs When

The clearest difference is monetization model: When at freemium against Post Notes's subscription. When also leads on device support. On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Post Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and When sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
