# MicFinder vs MicHunts

The clearest difference is monetization model: MicFinder at free against MicHunts's free with in-app purchases. MicFinder also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). MicHunts's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MicHunts holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MicFinder has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MicFinder ships an update every 8 days, MicHunts every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
