# IntervalTimer vs xTimer

The clearest difference is ads: IntervalTimer at none against xTimer's shown. xTimer's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IntervalTimer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and xTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IntervalTimer ships an update every 10 days, xTimer daily. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
