# FocusBlocks vs StoicLock

The clearest difference is update cadence: FocusBlocks at every 5 days against StoicLock's every 2 weeks. StoicLock's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusBlocks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StoicLock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusBlocks ships an update every 5 days, StoicLock every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
