# FocusBlocks vs Modus

The clearest difference is update cadence: FocusBlocks at every 5 days against Modus's every 6 weeks. Modus's advantage is iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusBlocks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Modus sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusBlocks ships an update every 5 days, Modus every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
