# Split vs IronRep

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Split at none against IronRep's 1. Split also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 days). IronRep's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.2 vs 26.2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IronRep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Split asks for nothing beyond the download.

Split ships an update every 2 days, IronRep every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
