# Background Eraser vs Vimori

The clearest difference is update cadence: Background Eraser at every 3 days against Vimori's every 9 days. Background Eraser also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Background Eraser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Vimori sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Background Eraser ships an update every 3 days, Vimori every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
