# Last Extract vs Barcode Beasts

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Barcode Beasts at 98% against Last Extract's 24%. Barcode Beasts also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Last Extract's advantage is ratings volume (9.2K vs 19) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Last Extract sells 17 one-off in-app purchases and Barcode Beasts sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
