# Last Extract vs On Raft

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Last Extract at 14K against On Raft's 119. On Raft's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 25%) and chart position (#88 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Last Extract sells 17 one-off in-app purchases and On Raft sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On Raft holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Last Extract has 14K ratings behind it against 119, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Last Extract's written reviews are positive against 40% of On Raft's.

Last Extract ships an update every 5 days, On Raft every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
