# Subscription Manager vs Renew

The clearest difference is update cadence: Subscription Manager at weekly against Renew's monthly. Subscription Manager also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subscription Manager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Renew sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subscription Manager ships an update weekly, Renew monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
