# DeVPN vs Velochron

The clearest difference is update cadence: Velochron at every 6 days against DeVPN's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DeVPN sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Velochron sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DeVPN ships an update every 5 weeks, Velochron every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
