# SHIFT vs AkorLab

The clearest difference is ads: AkorLab at none against SHIFT's shown. SHIFT's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SHIFT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and AkorLab sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SHIFT ships an update weekly, AkorLab every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
