# BBnotes vs LecSync

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BBnotes at 100% against LecSync's 71%. BBnotes also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). LecSync's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BBnotes sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and LecSync sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
