# Wait vs Dispatch Voice Recorder

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dispatch Voice Recorder at every 4 weeks against Wait's every 2 months. Wait's advantage is iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wait sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Dispatch Voice Recorder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wait ships an update every 2 months, Dispatch Voice Recorder every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
