# Dermetric vs Centile

The clearest difference is update cadence: Centile at daily against Dermetric's every 6 days. Dermetric's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dermetric sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Centile sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dermetric ships an update every 6 days, Centile daily. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
