# Scout vs Keptiq

The clearest difference is update cadence: Keptiq at every 2 days against Scout's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scout sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Keptiq sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scout ships an update every 5 weeks, Keptiq every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
