# Anywhere Proxy vs Today

The clearest difference is rating: Anywhere Proxy at 4.7 against Today's 3.8. Anywhere Proxy also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and ratings volume (59 vs 13). Today's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anywhere Proxy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Today sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anywhere Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 59 and 13 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Anywhere Proxy's written reviews are positive against 60% of Today's.

Anywhere Proxy ships an update every 2 weeks, Today every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
