# Anywhere Proxy vs hideip.net

The clearest difference is rating: Anywhere Proxy at 4.7 against hideip.net's 4.0. Anywhere Proxy also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (55 vs 1). hideip.net's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anywhere Proxy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and hideip.net sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anywhere Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anywhere Proxy has 55 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Anywhere Proxy's written reviews are positive against 100% of hideip.net's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Anywhere Proxy ships an update every 2 weeks, hideip.net every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
