# Anywhere Proxy vs Mesl

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mesl at 100% against Anywhere Proxy's 67%. Mesl also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Anywhere Proxy's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (63 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anywhere Proxy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mesl sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $8.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mesl holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anywhere Proxy has 63 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Anywhere Proxy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mesl's.

Anywhere Proxy ships an update every 2 weeks, Mesl every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
