# Screet vs Blackout Camera

The clearest difference is ads: Screet at none against Blackout Camera's shown. Blackout Camera's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.89 per 7 days and Blackout Camera sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screet ships an update every 2 weeks, Blackout Camera every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
