# Drop Marbles vs Jelly Drop Lab

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Jelly Drop Lab at none against Drop Marbles's 7. Jelly Drop Lab also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Drop Marbles's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (945 vs 25). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drop Marbles sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Jelly Drop Lab asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drop Marbles holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drop Marbles has 945 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Drop Marbles's written reviews are positive against 50% of Jelly Drop Lab's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drop Marbles ships an update weekly, Jelly Drop Lab every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
