# HalalFinders vs Trepo

The clearest difference is ads: HalalFinders at none against Trepo's shown. Trepo's advantage is ratings volume (52 vs 2) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for HalalFinders against 5.0 for Trepo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trepo has 52 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HalalFinders ships an update every 2 weeks, Trepo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
