# ALTime™ Docs vs Selects

The clearest difference is monetization model: Selects at free against ALTime™ Docs's freemium. Selects also leads on ratings volume (22 vs 1). ALTime™ Docs's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ALTime™ Docs sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Selects sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ALTime™ Docs against 5.0 for Selects. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Selects has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ALTime™ Docs ships an update every 8 days, Selects weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
