# Ice Time Track vs EdgeAlert

The clearest difference is update cadence: EdgeAlert at every 5 days against Ice Time Track's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ice Time Track sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and EdgeAlert sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ice Time Track ships an update every 3 weeks, EdgeAlert every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
