# Redemption Arc vs Tally

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tally at free against Redemption Arc's subscription. Tally also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1) and device support. Redemption Arc's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Redemption Arc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Tally sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Redemption Arc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tally has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
