# Vision Loop vs Monas

The clearest difference is update cadence: Monas at every 8 days against Vision Loop's every 3 months. Vision Loop's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vision Loop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Monas sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vision Loop ships an update every 3 months, Monas every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
