# Blockrix vs Block Drop

The clearest difference is ads: Blockrix at none against Block Drop's shown. Block Drop's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blockrix sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Block Drop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blockrix ships an update every 3 weeks, Block Drop every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
