# OBS vs StoreCut

The clearest difference is update cadence: StoreCut at daily against OBS's every 7 months. OBS's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OBS sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and StoreCut sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OBS ships an update every 7 months, StoreCut daily. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
