# Vanishing Notes vs Jotter

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Jotter at 15.0 against Vanishing Notes's 26.2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vanishing Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Jotter sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
