# Transcribe Voice Notes vs Window

The clearest difference is rating: Window at 5.0 against Transcribe Voice Notes's 4.5. Window also leads on ads (none vs shown). Transcribe Voice Notes's advantage is ratings volume (121 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transcribe Voice Notes sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Window sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Window holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transcribe Voice Notes has 121 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
