# Privify vs Ekho VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Ekho VPN at 5.0 against Privify's 3.7. Ekho VPN also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). Privify's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ekho VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Privify asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ekho VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Privify has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Privify's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ekho VPN's.
