# Maker's Note vs MakerNote

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: MakerNote at 15.0 against Maker's Note's 18.6. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Maker's Note sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MakerNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Maker's Note ships an update every 2 days, MakerNote every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
