# Forum, a Facebook app vs DumbScroller

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Forum, a Facebook app at none against DumbScroller's 1. Forum, a Facebook app also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 5) and chart position (#16 vs unranked). DumbScroller's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DumbScroller sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Forum, a Facebook app asks for nothing beyond the download.

DumbScroller holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forum, a Facebook app has 11K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
