# AI Memory Vault vs Jot

The clearest difference is ads: AI Memory Vault at none against Jot's shown. AI Memory Vault also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Jot's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Memory Vault sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Jot sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Memory Vault ships an update every 2 months, Jot every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
