# JotLo vs Tearpad

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: JotLo at none against Tearpad's 1. Tearpad's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 10 days). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tearpad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. JotLo asks for nothing beyond the download.

JotLo ships an update every 10 days, Tearpad daily. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
