# AffirmLock vs Lorebind

The clearest difference is rating: AffirmLock at 5.0 against Lorebind's 4.0. Lorebind's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AffirmLock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Lorebind sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AffirmLock ships an update fortnightly, Lorebind every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
