# Blocus vs Screenguard

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Screenguard at 86% against Blocus's 9%. Screenguard also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Blocus's advantage is ratings volume (226 vs 25). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blocus sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Screenguard sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screenguard holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blocus has 226 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two.
