# Science Tools vs WristBuddy

The clearest difference is update cadence: WristBuddy at every 4 days against Science Tools's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Science Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WristBuddy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Science Tools ships an update every 2 months, WristBuddy every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
