# FUTO Notes vs Clover

The clearest difference is monetization model: FUTO Notes at free against Clover's free with in-app purchases. Clover's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FUTO Notes ships an update every 2 weeks, Clover weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
