# e vs Super Simple Drum

The clearest difference is update cadence: e at weekly against Super Simple Drum's fortnightly. e also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. e sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Super Simple Drum sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

e ships an update weekly, Super Simple Drum fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
