# Cloudless Steps vs Walkful

The clearest difference is update cadence: Walkful at every 9 days against Cloudless Steps's every 4 weeks. Walkful also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloudless Steps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Walkful sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cloudless Steps ships an update every 4 weeks, Walkful every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
