# Fovly vs FlashRead

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fovly at weekly against FlashRead's every 2 weeks. FlashRead's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fovly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and FlashRead sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fovly ships an update weekly, FlashRead every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
