# Lecsy vs Lecture Recorder

The clearest difference is rating: Lecture Recorder at 4.7 against Lecsy's 4.3. Lecture Recorder also leads on ratings volume (29 vs 4). Lecsy's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lecsy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Lecture Recorder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
