# Now vs SYNC

The clearest difference is update cadence: Now at daily against SYNC's every 3 weeks. SYNC's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Now sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and SYNC sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Now against 5.0 for SYNC. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

Now ships an update daily, SYNC every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
