# StepFlow vs BlockStep

The clearest difference is update cadence: BlockStep at every 4 days against StepFlow's monthly. StepFlow's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepFlow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and BlockStep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepFlow ships an update monthly, BlockStep every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
