# Q vs SSH Speed

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SSH Speed at none against Q's 4. SSH Speed also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Q sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. SSH Speed asks for nothing beyond the download.

Q ships an update every 3 weeks, SSH Speed every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
