# Capture vs Join

The clearest difference is update cadence: Join at every 5 days against Capture's monthly. Capture's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capture sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Join sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Capture ships an update monthly, Join every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
